DJ and his monstrous pumpkin with "Trick or Treat" carved into it. He did the majority of it himself and only had a little help from his mother. Way to go! He'll be a master carver before we know it. He may even be able to do personal profiles, you never know, the sky is the limit! After this picture DJ dropped his pumpkin but then caught it in mid air. It was a close call. Good catch DJ!

Emily's witch came out rather well also. She did it all herself, well almost. Mom helped with some of the tight spots. She too is on her way to becoming a master carver. All that and cute as a button. Look out boys, in about twenty years!

Spencer did his pumpkin carving 100% on his own! What a stud! His bat looks SIMPLY MARVELOUS! He takes his master carving test next week, what can we say, the kids a pumpkin carving prodigy!

Olivia, well she took a couple of scoops of pumpkin guts out and was ready for somebody else to take over, dad, while she watched. Good job dad!

As
Livi went door to door people would ask her what she was. They asked if she was a horse or a donkey, several people even asked if she was a moose. I wonder what kind of candy they had been eating?
Livi's answer without fail was to look at the person and ROAR! DUH! Shes a hamster, otherwise known as a Dinosaur.

Spence does his daddy proud as a biker. He had to leave the bike at home but otherwise played his role very well. These pictures of the kids were actually at the church party.

Emily decided to be a pirate! Well at least that's what everybody at the party thought. She was actually a Gypsy, and quit an adorable one at that.

DJ decided to be a goth dude. I am glad to say his costume doesn't reflect his personality. He did a good job, as you can tell by the picture, of embracing the look. "What!" Ain't he cute!

Not only did the kids carve pumpkins this year, but they also painted some. These were the true proof of their personalities. Their artistic abilities really came out that night, with each of them covering every square inch of their pumpkins in paint. Though as beautiful as they were some would think a rainbow had vomited on them.

Spencer has become quit comfortable going with out his shirt, so at every opportune time he yanks it off to show off his body builder physique. Just look at him as if he were a mound of clay, if your creative you'll see it.

DJ got a little over excited. He actually did Bob the tomato. He did such a good job that dad almost cut into it for one of his sandwiches. Not really but what ever makes the kids feel good!

This is Picasso. Even though her pumpkin was covered with paint she kept on going. After about 10 layers of paint, you could tell because the pumpkin had tripled in size, dad said "okay, your done!" Dad is such a party
pooper. Jill says she wiped it 3 times
before Jill told her that's not the way to dry it off. "Says who!?"

This is Duane in his costume holding sweet Katie. If it weren't for the bald head you couldn't even tell it was him. The secret to the nice tan is a box of the rub on
insta tan.

The kids kept trying to talk mom into dressing up as a clown but mom would have nothing to do with it, so we put the wig on Katie. She liked it about as much as mom would of. But she is just so cute! Jill says this is what a Hess baby looks like with hair.
