Fall Fun!!

Fall has fallen and the kids are enjoying it. Dad raked up all the leaves in the front and the kids did what kids do best. Here is Olivia crawling out of a pile of leaves as tall as she is. She's fearless.

Emily is trying to be a fearless as her little sister, almost there, keep trying Em.

Here DJ is falling into the pile of leaves just as his dad suggested. What you don't see is him going all the way through the pile and hitting the ground with his stomach. Oops, Dad's bad! But all is well, DJ just rolled around for a couple of minutes holding his stomach in agony and then got up and continued playing. He is our biggest drama queen.

Jill snapped an awesome action pic of Spence. Now that boy can fly! For 2.6 seconds!

We buried the kids in our ginormous pile of leaves and uncovered their faces to take pics. These next four pics are the results. And may I just say how lovely they are.

The leaves cover up Emily's poison ivy really well. If she doesn't stop scratching and picking we'll have to change her name to Scarface. She's still beautiful to us, in a morbid parental kind of way. Well at least we love her! Most of the time.

The extra girl in this shot is the neighbor girl Grace who couldn't resist joining the fun.

We started running out of daylight but really wanted to get a family photo with the leaves before the rain started and got them all wet. What a pretty family! Just keep practicing and you too can have a pretty family like this someday. And humble too!
