Spence's class at school started a composting project using ziplock bags. They were then able to bring their worms home to start their own composting bins. Spence is so happy to be able to have this opportunity to have his own worm farm that mom and dad have to put up with, not to mention remind him to take care of and feed. This is actually a good thing since we would like to become gardeners, and composters. Let us hope for the best.DJ is helping his little brother by drilling holes in Spencer's new worm bin. It was a fun time for the chill'ns to help Spence get his bin ready for the fishing bait, I mean worms. Olivia is a serious reader. Here she fell asleep reading, looking at the pictures, it's all the same.

We had some friends from the ward over for dinner and for dessert we made fruit shakes. How do you make fruit shakes you ask? Well you stick a bunch of fruit in the blender and let it whirl! Katie loved it! She is a regular chow hound. We not only make fruit shakes but also green shakes. That's right, stick a bunch of green stuff in the blender and let it whirl! The other kids don't like it much but Katie can never get enough. Sometimes it is kinda of gross though. You can't really tell if she just had a shake or if she got into one of her own diapers! I'm just saying!

awsome! I think a worm farm would be really cool.
